Shanthi Pavan is the Chief Financial Officer of Iron Pillar. Shanthi is a Chartered Accountant with more than 17 years of finance experience covering all aspects of accounting, financial management, treasury investor reporting and regulatory compliance. She has extensive experience in servicing private equity, venture capital and hedge funds based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, and United States.

Prior to joining Iron Pillar, Shanthi was an Associate Director at SS&C Private Markets Group in Singapore for more than five years where she led the fund administration services team for a portfolio of PE Clients with an AUM of $15 billion. Prior to SS&C, she has worked as a Finance Manager with Gain Capital, a FOREX & CFDs trading company and with other fund administrators in Singapore. Shanthi started her career with KPMG in Sri Lanka and after completing her chartered training, she worked with E&Y Bermuda for three years providing audit and assurance services to US based Hedge Funds.

Shanthi is a qualified Chartered Accountant from Sri Lanka and a Certified Public Accountant from Australia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
