Tim Draper

Tim is a third generation venture capitalist and celebrated Silicon Valley investor. In 1985, Tim founded Draper Associates and DFJ. With DFJ, Tim led a series of successful technology investments including Hotmail, Skype, Tesla and Baidu. More recently, with Draper Associates, Tim invested early in Cruise Automation, Twitch.TV, Robinhood, Coinbase and Carta and has become an expert and prolific investor in the world of bitcoin and the blockchain. He launched the Draper Venture Network to work with venture firms from all over the globe. In 2013, he launched Draper University, a school for global entrepreneurs. Tim has been evaluating investment opportunities in India for almost two decades.

Ben Druskin

Ben retired in mid 2017 from Citigroup where he was Chairman of Global Technology, Media & Telecom Banking. Ben was previously Co-Head Global TMT Banking and prior to that ran the Global Services and East Coast Technology Investment Banking Groups. He joined the Technology Group in 1996 and founded the Global Services Group in 1997. Ben was considered one of the top technology deal makers on Wall Street during his 24 year-career, all with Citi. He led and completed hundreds of M&A, Equity and Fixed Income transactions and has been active in India technology since the early 2000s.

Kartik is a professor at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Kartik has been recognized as one of the world’s top 40 business professors under 40. He has received several teaching and research awards. His research work focuses on Internet media, Internet marketing and e-commerce. Kartik is a co-founder of Yodle Inc., a venture backed firm that was acquired by Web.com. He has served on the advisory board of Milo (acquired by eBay) and is involved with several other startups. He is a frequent commentator on the Indian market and has been a jury member for India’s #1 technology awards.

Sandeep is the head of Tandon Group, a technology catalyst that owns several successful businesses and provides resources to up-and-coming startups in India and North America. Sandeep is also co-founder of FreeCharge, chairman of Infinx Healthcare and Director at Syrma Technology. Sandeep has been actively involved in the technology industry for more than 20 years across California and Mumbai. His major contributions include the growth of technology exports from India and more recently serving as a mentor to many startup entrepreneurs, advisor to venture capital investors, and as an angel investor.

Haisong Tang is a successful tech entrepreneur and investor in China. Haisong joined McKinsey as its first Mainland trained consultant and helped set up McKinsey’s first Chinese office in 1993. Upon graduation from Harvard Business School in 1998, Haisong worked as an assistant to the Ermenigildo Zegna family. He then founded and was CEO of etang.com, a youth portal and community site in China, that was acquired by Qihoo. Since 2007, Haisong has been focused on investments in the technology and education areas in China. He has also been an adjunct professor at the Fudan Business School since 2013.
